What is Lucid Memoirs?

The name talks for itself… Lucid memoirs is a clear self expression of one’s personal experiences. Its simply a place to share episodes of my existence as my heart beats….

The blog faced a name change from hellopalz close to its second anniversary.

…and, Kaajewel?

Kaajewel is short for  ‘Krafted And Artisan Jewelry

Like Kaajal defining the beauty of your eyes, Kaajewel is designed to bring out the beauty in you.

Rooted in ethnic traditions, I’ve always loved wearing jewelry. Back in 2007, I tried my hands at jewelry making and soon it became my newfound passion and obsession. Kaajewel, took its name, shape and form in 2011 I began blogging to create an online expanse. While traveling to various places I collect intriguing semi-precious gems and beautiful charms which become ingredients of my jewelry design.

Kaajewel designs trendy and modern pieces with a dab of ancient ethnic past, making fashion affordable. From statement necklaces to chandelier earrings, there is something for women of every age.

Lucid Memoirs blog is a creative outlet of Priya Krishnamurthy. A place where she rambles about her love for art in many forms. It started out as a space to share the jewelry pieces and slowly it became a place to share exciting parts of her life. You will find interesting recipes, jewelry know-hows, photography, travel experiences, droll-worthy receipes, sometime henna designs, crochet crafts and a fun sketchbook too!

Apart from crafts and creations, I take pride in improving my writing skills, blog design, website building with good user interface and photography.

I am a Seattle based food blogger. I am planning a fundraiser for this amazing organization in India. Visakha Society for protection and care for animals- http://www.vspca.org/index.php. They focus on issues from animal birth control, to sanctuaries for cows, horses and all animals, plastic reduction, wildlife protection, to Vegan meals for the poor.

I was wondering if you would like to donate some jewelery or other hand made, easy to ship items to be a part of the fundraiser raffle items. I would absolutely love to have you be a part of the fund drive! Please do let me know.

The fundraiser will have items for raffle. Monetary donations will open up on april 22 and can be made to get raffle tickets, which can be applied to the item, Here is the fundraiser page. http://hobbyandmore.blogspot.com/p/fundraiser-for-vspca.html
